Another art-deco-ish poster for Ogle Laboratories. This tackles that classic ' perfect-bodied' bald dude that we see a lot in art deco architecture and statues. (Which really ties in well with the genre, as art deco makes everything utopian, so why not show people as "perfect?" ) Dr Ogle believes that through science, anything is possible. If you chuck your morals aside, You can bend the will of God to your use. (EDIT: I have not a clue why that horizontal line appears. That is certainly NOT on the original piece. Please, ignore it and download.)
Well, of course! That's the entire point, the irony. Notice that every "grand" plot to make the world "perfect" has turned into absolute pure evil? (say, communism, nazism, and of COURSE, the Borg from Star Trek XD)

Dude. I would completely turn my hypothetical basement into a laboratory just so I could hang that on the wall.
And thank you, now I've got Weird Science by Oingo Boingo (do a google search) stuck semi-permanently in my head, and I haven't heard that song in something like three years. Maybe four.

Correction: Sometimes, I wish I were MORE ashamed to write fanfiction.
If you saw me in public, you'd never recognize me.
I don't need to do a search for Oingo Boingo. I love Oingo Boingo. And hey, it could be worse. The theme I'm gonna go with on the Ogle thing is "In the Hall of the Mountain King" By Edvard Grieg.

I was joking. This is a 1920s-40s depiction of 'erfection.' Art deco such as this and neoclassicism were really big then, which meant having a lot of "perfect" beings. Depictions of perfection change, you know? Nowadays the ideal male usually is "sweet" and sensitive yet masculine at the same time >.> I dunno, things are weird. Tons of different people to advertise to.
